As mentioned in the previous blog we were facing some difficulties with mapping the path taken by the motorbike, but voila! We solved the problem with the geoshape using a folium map.
The visual has been made with Vega V3. It is a simple presentation, yet very representative as it displays all the points over which the motorbike have collected data. Thus, the path it travelled is marked on the map.

In this one, we present a more interactive representation of the road travelled by bike in the forms of clusters on the map.
Our project doesn't deal with a global phenomenon, thus we cannot have fancy visualisations of the globe or of various countries. Our data is all about how Big Data and IoT can be transformed to get meaningful insights in different use cases. Our use case is road quality and environmental pollution. For that, we have gathered the sensor data collected by a motorbike that travelled across Poland and generated different data on vehicle and environment parameters. Since in this experiment, the motorbike has travelled only in few cities of Poland, this is the visual that we have!
